- Saw Painted Bunting eating Finch Festival seed mix from Audubon
- Found juvenile Indigo Bunting dead. It was in its first or second year.
- Bird strike protection installed for the glass windows
Caretakers Note: To protect birds from striking glass windows, we covered the top part of the window with mesh about 4 inches from the glass. The mesh screen is stapled tight and firm to act as protection so the birds bounce off instead of crashing into the window glass.

Another 2.8 inches of much needed rain
- Saw a very large Ruby-throated Hummingbird, believed to be pregnant, also known as gravid
