  • Saw two Wren nests in Purple martin House
  • Saw multiple baby spiders hidden in a leaf

  • Caretaker rescued a lizard that was being eaten by a snake. The lizard lost some if its tail.
  • Saw another snake slithering along the sidewalk by the house.

                                       Central Texas Whip Snake

 

Caretakers note: The Central Texas Whip Snake was released and quickly slid to the top of this Ashe Juniper tree. The red underside of its belly is visible as a thin horizontal line in the upper center of the photo.
